Future 64-villa luxury sustainable resort under the
Six Senses hospitality brand and management.

Discovery Bay is an approximately 41-acre contiguous peninsula oceanfront site within the Freeport area on Grand Bahama Island. Situated on the main channel entrance to the Grand Lucayan Waterway, the property fronts the Atlantic Ocean and is the entrance for boaters arriving from the South. The Waterway extends north-south across the entire island with dozens of coves, paved streets and waterfront homes. The site is less than 15 minutes away from Grand Bahama’s international airport and has deep water access.

Six Senses Grand Bahama will be developed as a 64-villa luxury sustainable resort under the Six Senses hospitality brand and management, a sustainably-focused luxury resort operator with locations across many of the world’s most sought-after locations.

The resort villas are designed as single structures with a light touch on the land. Each structure is prefabricated of timber in order to provide a zero-waste solution. The structures are modest in size, as all 64 structures are a single story tall.
